Tara Mills, MD

About

Dr. Mills has a passion for high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive robotic surgery and gynecologic/obstetrical ultrasound. Her approach to women’s healthcare is compassionate and comprehensive. She believes that all women deserve a caring partner to help them achieve and maintain a lifetime of good health. This involves providing care for every age and stage, while also providing a compassionate listening ear.

Dr. Mills grew up in Pleasanton, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with high honors. Her peers also elected her to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.

She completed her medical school and residency training at the University of Texas at Houston/Hermann Hospital. There, she served as Administrative Chief Resident and Chief Resident, which gave her a wealth of knowledge and experience. She is board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Outside of work, Dr. Tara Mills enjoys spending time with her husband and two adorable children. She also loves running, watching college football (UT) and traveling with her family.

Her greatest passion is helping her patients overcome any issues with their health so that they can live happy and healthy lives.
